we delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.

about me

hello! my name is yohali bopeya and i'm a student at the university of illinois in urbana, champaign. i designed this website from scratch to show you who i am and what i can do. taking a tiny idea to a complete, full-scale project is one of the most satisfying parts of studying computer science. there's real value in sitting with confusion, analyzing code, and taking your time to craft something that's completely yours. currently, i work as a technical project management intern at synchrony financial, where the best part is supporting features end-to-end and watching that same process come to life. this is just the start: i hope to keep documenting my growth here so you can follow along. keep scrolling to learn more about my projects, skills, and experiences.
